 #SwimtoTim & #RacefromSpace May 27 - June 13th.
A "Swim to Tim" mission was launched to swim to Tim Peake at the International Space Station and ask him to PING a POUND to MSF by texting: PING65£1 to 70070

It was 220 miles there or 14,080 lengths in total and everybody got fitter whilst they were having fun and joining in! Perfect PING!participation!
The Deben Pool Swimonmauts came for a Swim, then at Reception wrote down the total numer of lengths they had done with their name on a star and posted in the bucket.
Each evening I updated the running total on the Space Station in the Foyer and add their star to the constellation! Stellar Swimonauts all!!!!

Maggie McArdle got involved and created a sistership at Wellington Leisure Centre Telford. We swam them in to complete 440 miles, docking on Sunday May 29th. Then.....
Someone had the sprakling idea to swim home..so #RacefromSpace was born as we challenged Tim Peake to a race home! By this time swimmers from all over were involved as well as those on holiday, wild swimmers and as far as Nepal and Dubai!
A further 440 miles complete and we Splashed down on June 13th at 1800hrs BST!

Spring PING! Pong Tournament! March 20th.
Sunday and the first day of SPrING!
Woodbridge is very lucky to have an all weather outdoor Ping Pong table on Kingston Field, and Gerry and David loaned theirs for the occaision!
Developed from an idea put forward by staunch supporter Jane there was a day-long tournament..teams and individuals from any and everywhere welcomed! Respectfully starting at coffee-timeish it ran through till tea-timeish. The Pavilion Cafe were there to support the parched and peckish as pantechnicons of people piled in to participate, party and PING! or pong or both...or would have..!!

BOOKS without BORDERS were there to rootle and rummage through as matches were awaited with Bated Breath!!

The "Juniors" winner received the unique and highly PING! prized
JANE MANTHORP HOOPPING! Cup
The "Seniors" the
PAVILLION SPrING! PING!Pong Cup and the doubles were honoured too! Over £60.00 was raised!I anticipate it will sow the seeds for what will be another PING! annual event supporting MSF.

PING! Presents March 5th.
One lovely supporter, Anne, recently had a most auspicious Birthday and threw a cracking ceilidh to celebrate. Rather than presents, she invited donations to a trio of Charities one of which was gratefully MSF, we received just over £58.00...what a brilliant idea to spread around!
